You have to admit the homeless attract your attention and your heart. Something about them disturbs you, yet draws you in. Behind every old trash bag, filthy blanket, or tattered jacket is a story. Below are pictures of just a few of the millions who are homeless in America. Each one has their own story and in their story is pain, heart ache, and hopelessness. These are powerful emotions, and though tragic, are beautiful. To love something so much then to lose it, that is in some ways beautiful. What is also beautiful is life. These people are still living, the hope of redemption is still alive. Though they are seemingly hopeless, they are alive. And that is beautiful.
