Bobby McAlpine is one of my all-time favorite interior designers. He attended Auburn University with my mother so I have grown up visiting his various homes and seeing a lot of his work. Bobby's style evokes a warm, cozy, elegance that I believe is unique to him. His spaces tie together warmth and cottage feelings with grand accents.
Ferry, Hayes and Allen Designers do a lot of country clubs. And though I am not much of a "country club" girl, their work at the Highland project was amazing. They managed to make large spaces, intended to accommodate many people, feel like a home. The use of large fireplaces, exposed beams, and warm earth tones brought the estate together to be a quite magnificent project.
